The series follows a group of five teenagers - Troy (Andrew Gray), Gia (Ciara Hanna), Noah (John Mark Loudermilk), Emma (Christina Masterson), and Jake (Azim Rizk) - as they are chosen to become the latest generation of the legendary Power Rangers. Each of them is given a unique set of powers, and together they form the Megaforce team - their mission being to protect the world from a range of dangerous threats including aliens and other evil forces.

As Power Rangers Megaforce begins, Troy, Gia, Noah, Emma, and Jake are all average teenagers living in the peaceful city of Harwood County. However, everything changes when they discover a mysterious spaceship that has crash-landed in their town. Inside the ship, they find a magical artifact called the Gosei Morpher - this is what gives them their powers and allows them to transform into the Megaforce Power Rangers.

Once they have their powers, the team must use them to fight various enemies, including the evil Warstar aliens led by the evil Prince Vekar. Prince Vekar and his minions want to take over the Earth and destroy everything that gets in their way, and it's up to the Megaforce Rangers to stop them.
